We’ll also report on whether the risks assessed by HMRC in the Agent Toolkits are being effectively managed by the firm, enabling you to assist your clients in demonstrating that reasonable care has been taken in the preparation of their return, thereby reducing the risk of an inaccuracy penalty.

Tax cold file reviews can take a number of forms. Undertaken by SWAT UK's tax staff, we can look at the general tax work alongside the accounts work and/or the firm’s general procedures. We can also look at specific areas, such as trust work or capital gains tax computations.

How much does a tax file review cost?

Prices for our tax reviews start from just £1170* (outside of London) and £1390* (in London) per on-site day (SWAT UK Full Member firms can enjoy a 10% discount on these rates) and don’t forget, this price includes the production of a FREE written report, following the review.
