Buzzacott offer graduates a contract of employment which includes a comprehensive, fully supervised training program which extends over a period of 36 months. A closely monitored and structured program of tuition is provided by a top firm of external tutors. Training consists of a combination of courses at the tutors’ offices, private study and regular tests, as well as on the job training. Paid study leave is granted and course and examination fees are paid for first attempts.

From the moment your training begins you will be assigned to a Manager who will act as your Counsellor. They will monitor and support your professional and personal development and monitor your ICAEW exam success. Other partners and senior staff are also available to discuss any problems that may arise and offer guidance; in addition the tutors at SWATUK provide support and counselling.

We would like to hear from you if you…

· Have or expect to obtain a degree (usually a 2:1), or equivalent, in any discipline from a reputable university;

· Have a minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent), including English Language and Maths, at grades A to C.

· Have a minimum of 26 UCAS points under the old system or 300 UCAS points under the new system (excluding General Studies)

· Are a team-player;

· Have excellent communication skills;

· Are flexible, motivated and committed;

· Work well under pressure; and

· Demonstrate initiative and strong leadership potential

Shipleys LLP

Shipleys LLP is a forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants based in London's West End but with branches in Godalming and Saffron Walden.

Our clients represent a cross section of large and small businesses and we have a large and thriving private client section. We train students in our audit department but from time to time there may be the opportunity for short-term secondments to other specialised departments which include corporate andpersonal taxation, financial planning, corporate finance, investigations, trust tax and administration and company secretarial work. We are leading members of AGN an international association of similar firms which further widens the scope of experience offered.

Chartered students enter a three year training contract where they are offered a structured programme of study leading to qualification and to further promotion. Established in 1869 by George Walter Knox (a founder member and one time President of the Insitute of Chartered Accountants) Knox Cropper is now a dynamic firm operating from three offices in the south east, a city office and offices in Haslemere and Hemel Hempstead. The firm currently has seven partners.

The London office specialises in the 'not for profit' sector, yet maintains a broad client base including a bank, insurance company, trade unions and a number of companies with overseas interests. The Haslemere and Hemel Hempstead offices specialise in small and medium sized businesses, trusts and personal taxation. As a result, trainees are afforded an excellent opportunity for comprehensive training in all areas including I.T.
