  • Our candidates are always of a high standard. We only accept applications from candidates with a 2:2 degree or above in any discipline, a minimum of 300 UCAS points (old UCAS tariff) or 120 UCAS points (new UCAS tariff), English Language GCSE grade C or above and Maths GCSE grade B or above

  • We invest heavily in advertising through various university careers guides, recruitment fairs and via the ICAEW

  • 93% of students for whom we recruit and monitor pass their exams first time (as of Jan 2018)

How it works

We review every application form to ensure minimum academic standards are met. We also ensure that the candidates are well-rounded, with evidence of numeracy, literacy and transferable employability skills.

We then invite promising candidates to an assessment day at our premises, where candidates are required to complete timed English and Maths tests, and a written exercise

If candidates pass all 3 tests, they are then invited to an interview with us later that day. During the interview, we are also assessing the candidate in terms of:

  • First impressions
  • Intellect
  • Experience to date
  • Inter-personal skills
  • Personal presentation
  • Maturity
  • Motivation
  • Ambition

We will then forward you details of all successful applicants, together with their application form, proof of identity and academic certificates. All you need to do, is choose which of the candidates would best suit your vacancy.

It’s at this stage that many firms hold second interviews and because we’ve already screened all applications and conducted first interviews, you have the reassurance that all candidates coming for a second interview will be of a high standard.

Competitive pricing

We are very competitive against agency fees and prove excellent value for money, particularly when you take into account the fact that we specialise within the accountancy sector and are best place for your trainee requirements.

Depending on your requirements, we can either process all CVs and applications for you and hold assessment days. Alternatively, we can just process CVs and applications (without holding assessment days).
